This past summer, the Journal of Dentistry was contacted and asked to participate in an abstract compilation resource on the topic of digital dentistry. After hearing the vision for a collaborative effort for the betterment of the dental community, we agreed to join with four other journalsin this endeavour: The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Journal of Prosthodontics, The Journal of the American Dental Association and The international Journal of Prosthodontics.
“Defining Digital Dentistry: A Survey of Recent Literature” is the creation of a compilation of highly-cited and influential published abstracts on digital dentistry and is a testament to the willingness of the community to work together for the advancement of dentistry and patient treatment. We believe all dental stakeholders will benefit from this resource whether they are private practitioners, educators, students, residents, or corporate industry.
“Defining Digital Dentistry: A Survey of Recent Literature” is available for the entire dental community and will be regularly updated through 2019 with new abstracts as our journal and others publish more on the topic in the future. We invite you to share this resource with your network as this is a great way to unify the community on digital dentistry as we all navigate new technology. Further information/access to the resource is available from the American College of Prosthodontics: https://www.prosthodontics.org/acp-publications/digital-dentistry-resources/.
