| Diameter index safety system | Prevents the wrong yolk attachment to the wall supply |
| Pressure differential | Preferential use of gas wall supply (55 PSI) over an E cylinder (45 PSI) |
| E tank regulators | Reduces E cylinder pressure to 45 PSI to reduce the risk of barotrauma |
| Pressure gauge | Allows the anesthesia provider to know the pressure and, subsequently, the volume of gas remaining in tanks |
