2. Be familiar with the machine controls
3. Understand how to use an exposure chart
4. Know about film and film packets
5. Recognize different film mounts
6. Understand basic patient and operator protection
7. Recognize which patient items must be removed
8. Identify errors in setting up the bite-block, film, and positioning ring
9. Recognize film-handling errors
10. Identify beam alignment problems

Goals

To become familiar with intraoral radiography equipment and supplies

To recognize and correct intraoral technique errors before exposing the radiograph
