| 1. Terminate the dental procedure and remove all materials from client’s mouth immediately. | Client may inhale materials during asthma attack. |
| 2. Place the client in a comfortable position as soon as signs are apparent—usually sitting with the arms thrown forward over the back of a chair. | This positioning allows for the most comfort during acute attack. |
